I'm a stay-at-home mom of two very sweet little kiddos:  Gabriel (born May 28, 2010) and Hallie (born November 6, 2011).  I've been happily married to the love of my life for over four years now.

I always wanted to be crafty, but my artistic abilities seemingly lay in other directions.  I love to write -- it's what I'm passionate about!  I decided to be an English major chiefly because of all the writing required.  (Read: I'm a nerd.)  I also love graphic and web design.  As for other artsy stuff... yeah, I fail.  I did take a sewing class in high school, however, and loved it.

Recently, I've come to the realization (or maybe wishful thinking) that perhaps I can make things with my hands and them actually turn out okay!  In any case, I'm willing to try!  So, I got a Silhouette and a sewing machine for Christmas and I've been having a blast with them ever since!
